The Challenge

The design challenge reflected in NJEDA’s website is organising a broad range of business programmes without overwhelming visitors. Business owners need to discover relevant resources, understand programme requirements, and identify where to ask questions. Other visitors may be looking for reports or public notices. The balance is between providing detailed information and offering understandable starting points for each audience.

  • Organise financing and business resources into distinct sections.

  • Connect programme discovery with eligibility and application information.

  • Keep contact options close to detailed guidance.

  • Separate business-support journeys from public-information resources.

The Solution

The website introduces dedicated sections for “Small Business Resources,” “Financing and Incentives,” and “Strategic Industry Support.” A financing directory links to individual programmes and an external eligibility wizard, offering both direct browsing and guided exploration. Programme pages such as “Direct Loans” group information into programme details, eligibility, terms, and supporting documents. Separate enquiry and application links give visitors different next steps depending on whether they are still researching or preparing to apply.

The Result

An information-led website that brings programme discovery, business resources, and public documents into one place. Visitors can explore financing options, find technical-assistance organisations, or review published reports through separate sections. The structure accommodates both businesses researching support and people seeking information about the authority’s activities.

  • Dedicated programme listings with links to an eligibility wizard.

  • Programme-level requirements, supporting documents, and enquiry options.

  • Separate access to annual reports and audited financial statements.
