The Challenge

The design challenge reflected in New Story’s website is explaining a housing model that goes beyond building homes. Visitors need to understand how land development, ownership, and access to housing finance connect, while donors, investors, and corporate partners each need a relevant next step. The balance is between communicating a complex approach clearly and keeping the families behind the mission at the centre of the story.

  • Explain the housing model through simple, connected steps.

  • Bring the experiences of families and communities into focus.

  • Connect the organisation’s mission with reported impact.

  • Make different ways to contribute easy to distinguish.

The Solution

The website introduces its approach through three stages: developing land, enabling ownership, and helping families access housing finance. Personal stories connect this process with the people it serves, while a dedicated impact page presents reported outcomes and community examples. Separate donation, investment, and corporate partnership links give supporters different ways to participate. A dedicated partnership page adds programme information, FAQs, and an enquiry form for businesses exploring involvement.

The Result

A mission-led digital experience that connects New Story’s approach to housing with the families it serves. Visitors can understand the organisation’s work, explore community stories, and review its reported impact before choosing how to get involved. The experience brings explanation, human connection, and participation together without treating every supporter’s journey as the same.

  • A step-by-step introduction to land development and homeownership.

  • Community stories alongside dedicated impact information.

  • Distinct routes for donations, investment enquiries, and corporate partnerships.
